Conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance adopting revisions to the City of Mesquite Engineering Design Manual.
Body
On May 20, 2019, the City Council adopted the Engineering Design Manual to serve as a comprehensive manual for infrastructure design and construction.
This ordinance will revise the following items within the Manual:
1. Revise procedure to update the Manual Appendices
2. Revise requirements for driveways for Single-Family Residential/Duplex properties
3. Revise study limits for Traffic Impact Analysis
4. Add requirement for minimum slab elevation in relation to street and alley elevations
A public hearing will be held to allow public input regarding the proposed revisions to the Engineering Design Manual. After the public hearing, the City Council may consider approving the ordinance adopting revisions to the City of Mesquite Engineering Design Manual.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends approval of the proposed ordinance.
