Authorize the City Manager to finalize and execute an Asset Transfer, Assignment and Assumption Agreement with the North Central Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Council, Inc., (NCTTRAC).
Body
The Mesquite Fire Department (MFD) is a member of the North Central Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Council, Inc., (NCTTRAC) and qualifies to receive NCTTRAC distributed Emergency Medical Services (EMS) supplies and assets. The Asset Transfer Agreement allows the MFD to receive those items. The Asset Transfer Agreement is newly created to address liabilities and obligations between NCTTRAC and member/non-member organizations that have received, or will receive, assets through programs that are administered by NCTTRAC. This agreement must be signed by an individual with sufficient authority to sign on behalf of the organization.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends that the City Manager be authorized to finalize and execute a transfer agreement with NCTTRAC.
