A resolution adopting a Debt Post Issuance Compliance Policy for the City of Mesquite.

The City Finance Department has formal financial policies that cover various aspects of financial management of the City in order to strengthen financial operations and obtain City Council approval of each policy.
All formal financial policies are reviewed on an annual basis and any proposed changes are presented to City Council for adoption as changed. The policy for Debt Post-Issuance Compliance has one section that needs to be removed, as it does not relate to the City of Mesquite. The original title of the policy is also being changed to reflect Post Issuance Compliance only as Debt Continuing Disclosure was set up as a separate policy.
A redlined version of the policy is included for review.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends approval of the resolution.
