The City of Mesquite and the Planning and Zoning Division have been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Planning Excellence by the Texas Chapter of the American Planning Association.
Mesquite is one of only 35 cities across the State of Texas to receive this recognition. The award is based on professional standards of the Planning staff, public outreach and awareness of Planning, and the support exhibited by the City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission.
