Section 67.016(a) of the Texas Election Code states “After the completion of a canvass, the presiding officer of the local canvassing authority shall prepare a certificate of election for each candidate who is elected to an office for which the official results is determined by that authority’s canvass.”
Recommended/Desired Action
City Councilmember Sherry Wisdom, Place 1, will be presented with a Certificate of Election.
