This annual purchase includes acquisition of 12 traffic signal controller cabinets to be used in the construction of temporary, as well as permanent, signals with the upcoming IH 635 East construction project, and two other signals built by private development. MoboTrex is the sole source provider for the traffic signal controller cabinets.
Financial Implications
Funding will be provided through a combination of the Mesquite Quality of Life Corporation and Certificate of Obligation 2020 funds allocated for traffic signal and safety upgrades.
