For the Board of Directors of the Town East/Skyline Tax Increment Finance Reinvestment Zone No. Nine: (1) remove Stan Pickett and Jeff Casper as directors and appoint Bruce Archer and Kenny Green as directors with terms expiring on December 31, 2021; (2) reappoint Robert Miklos, Jeff Jones, Dan Montgomery, B.T. Lawrence and Wayne Chappell as directors with terms expiring on December 31, 2021; and (3) appoint Bruce Archer as Chairperson to serve a one-year term beginning on January 1, 2020 and expiring on December 31, 2020.

The City Council adopted Ordinance No. 4466 establishing a Board of Directors for the Town East/Skyline Tax Increment Finance Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) No. Nine on December 19, 2016.
The City Council appoints seven members to the Town East/Skyline TIRZ Board to serve two-year terms. Due to the recent City Council elections, this action is taking place earlier than the actual term expiration date for the current Board members.
The board members whose terms expire on December 31, 2020, are listed below:

Jeff Casper Dan Montgomery, Fritz Industries

Each year the Council appoints one member of the Board to serve as Chair for a one-year term beginning January 1. The Chairperson whose term expired on December 31, 2019, is Stan Pickett.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends: (1) removal of Stan Pickett and Jeff Casper as directors and appointment of Bruce Archer and Kenny Green as directors with terms expiring on December 31, 2021; (2) reappointment of Robert Miklos, Dan Montgomery, B.T. Lawrence and Wayne Chappell as directors with terms expiring on December 31, 2021; and (3) appointment of Bruce Archer as Chairperson to serve a one-year term beginning on January 1, 2020, and expiring on December 31, 2020.
