This project allows the Mesquite Fire Department Training Division to train first responder personnel with a realistic human trauma patient simulator. This equipment simulates numerous injuries simultaneously that are consistent with those found at mass casualty incidents, allowing first responders to train in a more realistic environment.
Gaumard Scientific is the sole source provider for this trauma training simulator.
Financial Implications
This project will be paid through the Urban Area Security Initiative 2019 Grant project, which was approved by Resolution No. 73-2019.
