Consider a resolution celebrating National Senior Center Month and committing to the continued support of services and programs at the City’s senior centers.

September is National Senior Center Month. Mesquite’s senior citizen residents helped build our community, in which we enjoy today due to their hard work, sacrifices and are owed the respect and honor of every Mesquite resident. This resolution calls upon the City Council to support resources that celebrate the mind, body, spirit and enrichment of the lives of Mesquite’s senior citizen population.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends approval of the resolution.
