Receive presentation regarding the 2019 Meritorious Conduct Awards to Police Department employees.

The 2019 Meritorious Awards ceremony was cancelled earlier this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of the annual Police Department Meritorious Conduct Awards is to recognize the achievements and outstanding service of members of the Mesquite Police Department and citizens of Mesquite.
The following employees and citizens will be recognized:
• Sergeant H. Kent Tyler Award (Officer of the Year) - Timothy Rountree
• Civilian of the Year - Patrick Pellegrini
• Life Saving Award - Christopher Griner, Dwayne King and Alex Sparling
• Certificate of Merit - Timothy Rountree and Brandon Snyder
• Certificate of Civic Achievement - Sgt. Hines Perry
• Citizen’s Certificate of Merit - Jessica Coppinger
The Communications and Marketing Department recorded the presentations and produced a video to summarize the annual presentation of awards.
