As part of the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Budget, the City Council approved hiring additional Parks Staff to transition the landscape maintenance in specific areas of the City from contractor-provided services to an in-house service. This new in-house service requires hiring 18 additional staff members as well as purchasing new vehicles and all necessary equipment.
To support this change, staff is requesting approval to expand the current Parks Division fleet.

Financial Implications
The remaining budgeted amount will be used to make-ready for service.
