A resolution authorizing the City Manager to finalize, execute and administer an agreement regarding the provision of wastewater service between the City of Mesquite, Texas, and WJ Trinity Pointe, LP, for the provision of wastewater services to the WJ Trinity Pointe, LP 283.647 acres development located on the west corner of FM 2932 and Griffin Lane.

Pursuant to Ordinance No. 4785 adopted on June 15, 2020, the City Council approved a change of zoning to Planned Development - Industrial for the development of an industrial business park on 283.647 acres located on the west corner of FM 2932 and Griffin Lane in Kaufman County, Texas. WJ Trinity Point, LP (“Wynne Jackson”) is developing the project and has requested retail wastewater service from the City. This agreement between WJ Trinity Point, LP and the City sets the conditions necessary for the City to provide retail wastewater services to the project.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends approval of the resolution.
