With the resignation of Yolanda Shepard, there is an opening in Position No. 1 on the Planning and Zoning Commission. Brandon Murden has also resigned from this board leaving an alternate position vacant.
Members of the Planning and Zoning Commission also serve on the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee, which advises the City Council on matters pertaining to impact fees.
