As part of the Fiscal Year 2020-21 capital outlay budget, three pickup trucks were approved for replacement and an additional three new vehicles were approved to be added to the fleet. Three pickups will replace three pickups due to age, condition, and increased maintenance costs.
Units being replaced by Ford F-250 Pickups:
2001 Dodge 2500 (Parks and Recreation)
2009 Chevrolet 2500 (Parks and Recreation)
Unit being replaced by Ford F750:
2007 GMC 7500 Crew Truck (Water Utilities)
New Additions:
2 - 2021 F-250 Animal Transport Trucks (Animal Services)
2021 Ford F-250 Pickup (Streets Division)
Financial Implications
The remaining budgeted amount will be used for making ready for service.
