A resolution authorizing the submission of the 2019 Community Development Block Grant’s Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Body
The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires entitlement communities to prepare a Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) to continue to receive federal housing and community development funding. The CAPER tracks progress of how the City allocated grant funds to meet the priorities and needs identified in the Program Year 2019 Annual Action Plan, which covered the period October 1, 2019 to September 31, 2020.
PUBLIC NOTICE REQUIREMENTS
A public notice was published on February 18, 2021, in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper for the public comment period. The 2019 CAPER has also been made available for public viewing in the Community Service’s building lobby located at 1616 North Galloway Avenue and on the City’s website on the Community Service’s webpage. The public comment period took place from February 22, 2021 to February 26, 2021. No public comments were received.

Staff recommends approval of the resolution.
