Consider appointment of one regular member to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and Tree Board for a term to expire October 21, 2022.

Currently, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and Tree Board has one regular member vacancy due to the resignation of Kenneth Burris. Kendrick Blanton is currently serving as an alternate member and is eligible to be moved to a regular member. If Kendrick Blanton is moved to a regular member, Steve Bragg will automatically move up to Senior Alternate and carry his term which will leave a vacancy for a Junior Alternate member with a term expiring October 21, 2021.

Staff recommends changing the appointment of Kendrick Blanton from an alternate member to a regular member on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and Tree Board for a term to expire October 21, 2022. In addition, staff recommends appointing Laura Nix as an alternate member for a term to expire October 21, 2021.
