The purchase of this response van will be used by the new Southeast Collaboration Critical Intervention Team for responses to mental health emergencies throughout the cities of Mesquite, Balch Springs, Seagoville, and the Town of Sunnyvale. Funding for this vehicle is through the Dallas County New Directions in Public Safety Grant Program. The remaining budgeted amount will be used for radios, mobile data computer, and other vehicle accessories necessary for the team to operate.
