Body
The City of Mesquite currently contracts with the Law Office of Gary A. Grimes for miscellaneous collections including taxes, liens and other matters. Mr. Grimes has served in this capacity for many years and has proven to be a good resource for the City.
Mr. Grimes has notified the City of Mesquite that he is associating with the firm of Linebarger Goggan Glair & Sampson LLP with the expectation that some of the services for the City be provided by the Lindbarger firm. Linebarger provides similar collection services for municipalities across the State and have a good reputation among City Managers and City Attorneys in other communities.
The current contract with Mr. Grimes requires City Council approval for Linebarger to associate with Mr. Grimes’ firm.
