The Annual Plan is required by the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). The purpose of the Annual Plan is to provide an easily identifiable source where the public and program participants can locate basic program policies, rules and requirements concerning the City of Mesquite’s Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program, operations, and services.
As required, a Public Notice was published on May 20, 2021, in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper for a comment period The Annual Plan has been posted on the City of Mesquite’s Housing Division web page and is available for public viewing in the Community Services lobby. The Resident Advisory Board was provided with a copy of the Annual Plan. The public comment period will end on July 6, 2021.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends approval of a resolution adopting the Annual Plan for the HCV Program.
