Title
An ordinance amending Appendix D “Comprehensive Fee Schedule” by making certain deletions and additions in Article XII, Section 12-100 “Building Permits,” by updating the fees for “Single-family residential (SFR), duplexes, townhouses and condominiums per unit” and establishing new fees for “Emergency Notification Fee,” “Emergency Services Fee” and “Technology Fee.”
Body
This amendment to the fee schedule will increase the permit fee for new single-family houses, duplexes, townhomes and condominiums from $1,100 per unit to $1,200 per unit. The following new fees would also be included with each of these residential permits:
Emergency Notification Fee - $100
Emergency Services Fee - $1,000
Technology Fee - $200
Currently, the total of all fees for a new residential permit is $6,847. With the proposed revised and new fees, the total would be $8,147, an increase of $1,300.
There are no proposed changes to the permit fees for single-family infill development permits.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends approval of the ordinance.
