Conduct a public hearing and consider an ordinance for Zoning Application No. Z0921-0218, submitted by Adeel Shibli, for a change of zoning from Truman Heights Neighborhood District to Truman Heights Neighborhood District with a Conditional Use Permit to allow a medical clinic, located at 802 E. U.S. Highway 80.
(No responses in favor or in opposition to the application have been received from property owners within the statutory notification area. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval with certain stipulations.)
Body
The applicant proposes to perform interior renovations and occupy the existing building with a medical clinic. The clinic would be general family medical practice for patients on an appointment basis only. The structure was previously occupied by a tax office.
On October 11, 2021, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted 7 to 0 to approve a change of zoning from Truman Heights Neighborhood District to Truman Heights Neighborhood District with a Conditional Use Permit to allow a medical clinic.
Recommended/Desired Action
Following the public hearing, Staff recommends approval of the ordinance.
