As set forth in plans and specifications, the project is designed to reconstruct an alley between West Davis Street and West Main Street, next to the Heritage Building. The project includes replacing paving, sidewalk, parking, utilities, and landscaping.

 

Bid notices were broadcast through Periscope Holdings electronic bidding system, posted on the City’s website, and published in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper. The City received one responsive bid.

 

The sole low bidder, Estrada Concrete Company, LLC., is the contractor on the City’s Real.Texas.Roads. project for the Galloway Place Neighborhood and Northridge Addition Repairs.

 

Financial Implications

Funding is available in the budget from Towne Centre TIRZ, Capital Projects Bond funds and Water/Sewer funds.

 

Recommended/Desired Action

Staff recommends award to low bidder Estrada Concrete Company, LLC.
