Due to decreased manufacturer production, a limited number of vans are currently available nationwide. As a result, Building Services has not been able to replace units as needed. Staff has located a van that meets the needs of the department. Once the order is placed, the estimated time for delivery is three months.

Financial Implications

The unit was approved in the FY 2022-23 Capital Outlay Budget. The remaining funds will be used for the purchase of any additional equipment needs. 

 

Recommended/Desired Action

Staff recommends award to from Grapevine DCJ LLC.
