On October 17, 2022, Council approved Ordinance No. 4992 creating two divisions of the Municipal Court and the position of Municipal Court Associate Judge, who shall supplement and assist the Municipal Court Presiding City Judge and shall have all powers and duties of the Municipal Court Presiding City Judge.
Judge Detra Hill, Municipal Court Presiding City Judge, shall preside over the Municipal Court, Division 1, and the Municipal Court Associate Judge shall preside over the Municipal Court, Division 2.
On November 21, 1994, Council appointed Warren Nystrom as Alternate Municipal Court Judge. On March 5, 2007, Ordinance No. 3856 created the position of Assistant Municipal Court Judge and appointed Warren Nystrom as the initial Assistant Municipal Court Judge.
