Consider appointment of one member to the North Texas Municipal Water District Board of Directors for an unexpired term set to expire May 31, 2023, and appointment for a full term to expire May 31, 2025.
Body
The City currently has a vacancy on the North Texas Municipal Water District Board of Directors. As a member city, Mesquite is allotted two members to serve on the Board. Board members serve two-year terms. Currently, Terry Anderson is serving on the board with a term to expire May 31, 2024. The current vacancy is to fill a term expiring May 31, 2023.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff has provided a candidate for consideration. Following review of this candidate, staff recommends appointment.
