This bid is to provide concrete for the Streets Division to meet their annual needs for the street, alley and sidewalk rehabilitation they perform with in-house crews.
Bid notices were broadcast through the BidSync electronic bidding system, posted on the City’s website and an Advertisement for Bid was published in the Daily Commercial Record newspaper. A total of one responsive bid was received. However, the responsive bid did not respond to all items needed to adequately supply the Streets Division.
Staff will rebid the project in the near future and is making contact with additional local concrete suppliers to encourage additional suppliers to submit bids.
Recommended/Desired Action
Staff recommends all bids be rejected.
